The Electrical Kit

Included with the electrical kit is everything needed to install a Push-to-Wash/Turn-to-Wipe (PtW/TtW) type switch and delay knob. The PtW/TtW switch replaces the original washer switch and has a Washer/Wiper logo on the face of the black knob. The intermittent delay knob is mounted in a new location on the dash, usually to the right of the PtW/TtW switch. A blank faceplate is provided to cover the hole for old hydraulic control lever.

To ease installation, the harness wires are unterminated at the motor end; crimp connectors are provided for application after the wires are routed through the firewall and cut to length. All components, including a 20A circuit breaker, are included EXCEPT the 5-pin connector which plugs into the motor. The motor electrical connector is best purchased at a junk yard with the motor (which is needed for trade-in even if you purchase a rebuilt motor).

* The Electrical Kit is not required if you do your own wiring. Instructions are provided to wire a steering column mounted type switch if you prefer.

* This connector is also the same as used on most 90’s GM pickups, S10-S15 is easiest to remove.
